Kenneth LayKenneth Lay was born in 1942 in Tyrone MO. Lay, also known by his nickname "Kenny Boy", grow up impoverished; his father sold farm equipment and feed until they became bankrupt and became a Baptist minister. Kenny Boy worked many places before starting Enron. He even shortly held a position in the Navy as an economist. In 1984 Kenny took control of Houston Natural Gas and merged it with InterNorth. The result of the merge was Enron. Lay campaigned strongly for the deregulation of energy and was friends with the Busch family. Jeffrey received his bachelor degree at Southern Methodist University and went to get his M.B.A. at Harvard. After Harvard Skilling worked for McKinsey & Company and from there was hired by Lay to be the Chief Executive officer and chairman at Enron. Skilling quickly rose up through the ranks and even replaced Lay in 2001 as CEO. A former nerd, Skilling became a very intense man and often took many dangerous trips with partners.

Andrew FastowBorn on December 22, 1961 in Washington, DC, Andrew Fastow was raised in a middle class Jewish family in New Providence, New Jersey. In 1990 Fastow joined Enron and became the company’s chief financial officer. http://www.biography.com/articles/Andrew-Fastow-234605
